This position reports to
Project Manager - Kusile
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to gather and compile data that are essential to the administration of contracts, assist with the implementation of contract administration procedures, and coordinate the completion of administrative tasks. Each day, you will monitor areas of contract performance as assigned, and conduct enquiries into specific contract problems. You will also showcase your expertise by providing assistance in claims research. The work model for the role is: Hybrid This role is contributing to the Process Automation Energy Industries in Longmeadow You will be mainly accountable for: • Detailed knowledge, understanding & experience of working on FIDIC & NEC contracts. • Prepare pretender estimates and pricing of BOQ • Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals. • Liaising with Project Managers, Project Controllers, Proposals Engineers, Site managers, Clients, Contractors, and Subcontractors. • Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents. • Preparing and ensuring EWN's, TIA's, CN's are sent as per the Contracting Methodologies • Advising managers and clients on improvements and new strategies. • JIT methodologies in Procurement wherever applicable. • Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets. • Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders. • Cashflow and budgeting monitoring • Site re-measurements • Preparation of the project final account • Evaluating subcontractors' payment certificates, Invoicing etc. • Pricing Variation Order Proposals and Deviations as per Contract • Assessing, Coordinating, Valuating and submitting claims to Customers.

Qualifications for the role
- Must have a National Diploma in Construction Management and Quantity Surveying, or similar.
- Minimum 8 years work experience
- Construction estimating or finance experienced is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Sound knowledge of construction.
- Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to organize, plan, and strategize.
- A valid driver's license.
- Great networking abilities.
