Airswift is seeking a Drafter I to work in Lake Charles, LA, for a 1 year assignment subject to extension.

Responsibilities:

• Execute detailed drawing designs using CAD software for projects involving:
  • Management of Change (MOC)
  • Process Hazard Analysis (PHA)
  • Capital Projects
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of:
  • Drafting standards and processes
  • Design requirements within Capital Project workflows
• Ensure final design compliance with drafting regulations and quality standards.
• Conduct site visits as needed to gather and verify information essential for design work.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Degree in Technology with emphasis on drafting/design or equivalent preferred.
• Experience:
  • 1-2 years of industry-related experience as a Drafter I; or
  • 3+ years of experience as a Drafter II in a petrochemical or similar environment.
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (2016 or higher preferred) and Windows.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Proactive attitude toward problem-solving.
