We are working with a Major Oil & Gas operator to source for Lead of Project Control specialising in offshore compression. This is a long-term contract role working on a residential basis 6-days per week / 10 hours per day. Please see details below:

Title: Lead of Project Control
Start Date: Negotiable (typically within 1 month notice)
Duration: 36 months (potential for extension)
Location: Onshore (site based)
Working Schedule: 6-days per week / 10 hours per day

Job Purpose:

• This position is required to support the management of the project controls function within the Compression Project
• Key accountabilities include progress Measurement procedures, basis and reporting review and approval; Risk register coordination and reporting; Progress status reporting development and management.
• Reports to Head of Project Controls - Compression.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or Business degree required.
• 14 years' experience in a major project environment within the oil and gas industry, with exposure in business management including project controls, cost and schedule development, tender preparation and contract management and 3 years supervising multi discipline and multi-cultural teams and as Lead of control for mega projects.
