Lead Account Manager

The purpose of the role is to act as the primary customer interface for a key client, with a focus on relationship management and business development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Developing and sustaining long-term customer relationships at all levels, including the C-suite level;
• Providing superior customer service by understanding the client's business and the value Honeywell can bring to drive outcomes.
• Leveraging cross-functional company resources to address customer initiatives in a consultative manner.
• Acting as the primary supplier interface for all products, solutions, and services with the customer.
• Being the focal point for relationship strategies, account and sales plans, proposal strategies, and contract negotiations.
• Identifying new sales opportunities and building value propositions for solutions into the account.
• Pursuing growth through regular face-to-face meetings and winning new customers to broaden the assigned customer base.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
• Candidates will ideally hold an engineering degree or a related technical qualification.
• Experience in building and maintaining relationships with customers at all levels of an organisation.
• A demonstrated background in either an account management or client facing role (e.g. business development, project management, Marketing).
• Experience in business-to-business solution sales.
• Experience in Automation and Control i.e. DCS, PLC is preferred

WE VALUE
- Candidates with a technical degree and an MBA are particularly of interest (shows an interest in the business side). We have plenty of technical people but what we need are people who can setup and close complex sales.
- Candidates will ideally come from an Oil & Gas, Power, Renewables, or EPC / EPCM background.
- Candidates must have previous account management, B2B sales, or business development experience (5+ years minimum).
- Candidates from a delivery background (e.g. project management, technical delivery) may be of interest.
