BASIC PURPOSE: Musket Europe SARL, headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, specializes in commodity supply, trading and logistics and provides expertise on both a marketing and operational level. This position will be based out of Geneva, and will manage natural gas liquids supply trading, marketing and distribution under the supervision of Musket's Supply & Trading leadership.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for new business development.
  • Execute optimal trading strategy for Natural Gas Liquids.
  • Use market economics and price trends to effectively manage asset base.
  • Manage trading positions, Fixed Forwards and market orders based on market structure and supply/demand.
  • Direct deal flow to generate growth and maximize top and bottom line new business opportunities.
  • Evaluate and analyze storage business.
  • Develop broader portfolio strategies to identify and manage major risk exposure.
  • Ensure proper contract negotiation, review and execution.
  • Assemble, manage and develop a team to support the NGL trade department.
  • Develop supply and demand models to analyze current and future market opportunities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Management, Marketing or Economics required.
    • Master of Business Administration preferred
  • Experience
    • With a bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Management, Marketing or Economics, must have five (5) years of business development experience in the wholesale marketing industry managing energy logistics, asset portfolios, and strategies for a diverse product, term, volume, and price contract options; and building natural gas liquids business infrastructure.
    • With a Master of Business Administration, must have one (1) year of business development experience in the wholesale marketing industry managing energy logistics, asset portfolios, and strategies for a diverse product, term, volume, and price contract options; and building natural gas liquids business infrastructure.

SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Skills:
    • Hard Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office, management skills, understanding of risk management and the ability to operate within trading guidelines
    • Soft Skills: Good written and oral communication skills, team player, exceptional customer service, attention to detail, self-motivated, good time management skills, and innovative thinking
  • Typical Physical Demands:
    • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
    • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
    • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
    • Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
