What will you do?

We're looking for a hands-on, quick-thinking Wind Turbine Site Foreman. Reporting to your Area Manager and Lead Technician, you will carry out the day-to-day service, maintenance trouble shooting, and scheduled maintenance services in accordance with manufactures guidelines. Be ready to jump into action, safely, to keep our turbines spinning smoothly!

Position Details:

Location: Texas, Maine, New York, Montana, Canada

Position/Classification: Wind Turbine Site Foreman

Compensation: Starting pay is based on experience, recommendations, and assigned location.

Schedule: Continuous cycle of 6 weeks on-site then 1 week off (return home)

Travel: 100%

Work Environment: Work outdoors in various weather conditions, Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.

Required Experience and Education:

• Previous troubleshooting with HSE process
• One (1) year technical experience (mechanical, electrical, etc.) and/or technical education.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems in wind turbines.
• Comfort working at heights and in all kinds of weather-rain, shine, or gusty days.
• Commitment to safety

Preferred Experience:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Field or Manufacturing Engineer or Health and Safety Engineer
• Required experience as a Field or Manufacturing Engineer or Health and Safety Engineer

Items you'll support and work on:

• Work closely with our engineering and operations teams
• Follow up with technicians to ensure maintenances and repairs are completed
• Proficient with technical manuals, diagnostic tools, and equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on wind turbines.
• Engage in physically demanding tasks, including climbing, lifting, and working in confined spaces.
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Monitor repairs or replace faulty components, such as bearings, gears, and blades.
• Collect data on turbine performance, including power output, wind speed, and system faults.
• Enforce safety protocols and regulations, including OSHA standards.
• Complete required safety training and certifications.
• Maintain company tooling, facilities and equipment and a clean safe work environment
