JOB DESCRIPTION
As an O&M Technician, you'll be at the forefront of maintaining critical infrastructure at our Bacton facility. You'll work within a dynamic team environment, focusing on maximizing production efficiency while adhering to the highest safety standards. This role combines hands-on technical work with problem-solving skills, offering opportunities for multi-skilling and professional development.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities
Ensure safe and efficient operation of installation plant and equipment
Maximize and optimize production opportunities to meet daily targets
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance tasks
Investigate and troubleshoot operational anomalies
Conduct front-line problem solving and implement solutions
Monitor and maintain processing and ancillary plant within specified operating parameters
Document and report technical issues and maintenance activities
Collaborate with team members to ensure optimal plant performance
Participate in ongoing training and skill development programs
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
NVQ in Processing Operations (Hydrocarbons)
Local residence near Bacton Gas Terminal (NR12 0JE)
Strong commitment to safety and operational excellence
Specialized Skills (at least one of the following)
Electrical Installation
TIE16 certification for Installing cables in Intrinsically Safe systems
TIE17 (Ex) certification for Installing, Glanding, and Terminating Power Cables
Electrical Maintenance
TEM10 certification for Hazardous area inspection of electrical equipment
Instrument Maintenance
TEM10 certification for Hazardous area inspection of electrical equipment
TSBT02 certification for Disassembling and reinstalling SBT assemblies
Mechanical Maintenance
TMJI10 certification for Dismantling, assembling, and hand torquing flanged joints
LOLER Focal Point
TAP01 certification for Planning Rigging Operations
