The Role

Our client is seeking a proactive Expeditor to work closely with their Project Procurement Management (PPM) team. The focus of this role is to manage vendor documentation efficiently and ensure the timely delivery of critical materials to meet project timelines.
This is a temporary roles for the duration of 1 year with a possibility of extension.


Responsibilities

• Vendor Document Management:
  
  • Actively manage and expedite vendor documentation to complete the Vendor Data Book (VDB).
  • Ensure the timely submission, consolidation, and approval of engineering and quality documents.
  • Collaborate with engineering and QA/QC teams to address delays and support document requirements proactively.
• Material Expediting:
  
  • Oversee the procurement and delivery of urgent or production-critical materials, including replacements and additional items arising from project needs.
  • Expedite long-lead materials to meet tight deadlines and ensure availability for subsystem commissioning and hull completion.
  • Act as a key liaison to address material requirements spanning topside and hull scopes, ensuring alignment and smooth project execution.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in expediting, procurement, or supply chain management, ideally within maritime or industrial projects.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with document control and vendor management processes.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional and international teams.
• Proficiency in English is required; additional language skills, such as Dutch, are a plus.
