Travel required locally or long-distance up to 20% of the time for work-related meetings and functions.

Mental and Physical Demands:
Regularly required to walk, stand, crawl, climb stairs and bend; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms over shoulder height; and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Frequent pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, bending, balance, depth perception, repetitive arm/hand movements, eye-hand-foot coordination, manual dexterity (eye/hand coordination) finger dexterity, vision acuity (far/near) and hearing acuity. May be required to climb ladders and/or stairs more than 50 ft. and work in confined spaces. Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
May be required to spend 50% or greater of time in an outdoor setting. Will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Maintain emotional control under stress, work with interruptions and deadlines.
May work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Environmental Factors:
May be exposed to biological hazards (communicable diseases, bacteria, insects, mold, fungi, etc.). Will work in or around industrial and construction settings, which may include working with chemicals, hazardous products, processes, and materials. Exposure to loud machinery, moving mechanical parts and adverse weather conditions. Gaseous risk exposure and occasional dangerous driving conditions. Will work with petroleum products under high pressure and in extreme temperatures, both hot and cold.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of company and industry practices and construction standards.
- Able to troubleshoot and re-start mechanical equipment.
- Ensures run time and reliability goals are met by making rounds and performing small maintenance tasks.
- Assists with developing and maintaining, scopes, schedules and procedures for maintenance and operation.
- Able to notice equipment abnormalities.
- Responsible for ensuring proper flows, temps, densities on LACT units.
- Responsible for pigging gas and crude pipelines.
- Communicates with other operators on shift.
- Responsible for housekeeping and operation of Crude Terminal and LACT units.
- Responsible for knowing and maintaining regulatory compliance at terminal, LACT units and pipeline (OSHA, DOT, PHMSA, BLM).
- Intermediate knowledge in various areas of job (valves, pumps, pipelines, measurement, etc.).
- Assists with the training of new hires.
- Collaborate with other departments and third-party contractors as required.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline related to the job.
- Self-motivated and works independently.
- Clear, concise and thorough written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to follow and adhere to all company and safety policies.
- Must be able to communicate with other departments and/or third-party contractors.
- Basic computer skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Able to perform shift work; routinely work holidays/weekends that occur during the shift.
- Able to work with others and work under minimal supervision.
- Able to follow company policies and comply with company regulations.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with inspections, installation, and repairs of pipelines.
- At least 2 years of operation of pipelines and/or terminals.
