This position reports to

Material Planner

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to generate a detailed production schedule based on the production plan to maximize the use of resources and meet established production specifications and schedules. Each day, you will feed information on production capacity issues and material availability. You will also showcase your expertise by releasing manufacturing work orders. The work model for the role is: onsite This role is contributing to the Motion Traction in Baden, Switzerland. You will be mainly accountable for: • Creating and maintaining a detailed production schedule from the production plan. • Executing daily, plant-level Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) to create and manage production requirements to meet the production delivery schedules. • Establishing sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipment dates per the master schedule/plan. • Monitoring schedule adherence, identifying key root causes for deviation, and taking follow-up improvement action.

Qualifications for the role

  • You are skilled in SAP PP / MM and have experience in the electronics or mechanical manufacturing market.
  • You have at least 1 year of experience in production planning or production preparation.
  • You are proficient in the MS Office 365 package, particularly Excel.
  • You value communication and team spirit, and you approach your work with reliability and a sense of responsibility.
  • You have completed vocational training (EFZ/EBA) in the technical or commercial area.
  • You are comfortable communicating in business-fluent German and have good knowledge of English.
  • You hold any current required licenses valid in your job location and any country-specific VISA or work permits, where required.
