Head of Shopfloor Planning Austria

Your role and responsibilities

Objective of the position: To support production and business management through sound analysis, accurate reporting and strategic recommendations for action to optimize processes, costs and operational efficiency in a series production environment. Core tasks and responsibilities: • Establishment, maintenance and further development of a comprehensive production controlling system • Analysis and interpretation of key production figures (e.g. OEE, reject rates, throughput times, capacity utilization) • Carrying out cost and profitability analyses for production processes • Continuous target/actual monitoring (target times, set-up times, etc.) • Development and implementation of recommendations for action to reduce costs and optimize processes • Monitoring and controlling material consumption and inventory costs • Preparation of reports, forecasts and ad hoc analyses • Working closely with production, purchasing and quality management to improve processes and standards • Co-design and implementation of digitalization and automation projects in the area of controlling

Qualifications for the role

• Completed studies in business administration, industrial engineering or a comparable field of study, ideally with a focus on controlling/production
• Professional experience in production controlling in a series production company
• Sound knowledge of cost management and process optimization
• Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP) and data analysis tools
• Confident handling of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking ability
• High level of initiative and sense of responsibility
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Ability to work under pressure, flexibility and assertiveness
• Hands-on mentality and enjoy solving operational issues
• Fluent written and spoken German
