What will you be doing?

We are looking for an Electronic Technician to join our team in the dedicated Electronics Workshop at our Greenwell Site, Tullos. This is a full-time, staff role where you will join a multi-skilled team performing maintenance, repair & servicing on a wide range of ROV and Survey Electronic Equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

  • Ensure equipment is checked and maintained in accordance with relevant task plans/work instructions
  • Using logical fault-finding techniques at component level
  • Assist in the identification and ordering of suitable spare parts to ensure they are available when required
  • Compile and maintain technical records, reports and logs using the Workshop Request software & SAP
  • Interface with other Workshop disciplines and internal/external clients when required
  • Participate in the planned maintenance of electronic department equipment
  • Provision of technical information to administration team to enable SAP equipment reports to be updated


What experience would we like you to have?

  • Have completed a recognised Trade Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
  • Studying towards or desire to pursue further electronic qualification at HNC/HND Level
  • Knowledge on a wide range of ROV topside & subsea Equipment
  • Knowledge on a wide range of Survey Equipment
  • Fault Finding techniques to component level
  • IT literate - proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Effective communication/interpersonal skills
