This Position reports to:
Quality Supervisor
Your role and responsibilities
Inspect and troubleshoot any defects or discrepancies in conformity
Assist other QC Personnel, Operators, Assemblers, etc. when quality questions arise
Perform inspections using measurement tooling (calipers, gauges, meters, etc.)
Train other employees as well as participate in additional training.
Inspect, examine, and observe for product or equipment defects.
Cross Training will be expected and required.
Potential of some weekday and/or weekend OT.
Experience in the use of various hand tools such as screwdriver crimpers etc. but not limited to
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications for the role
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing environment, assembly or casting preferred
Minimum 1 year experience in quality
Desired experience in SAP and Windchill
Ability to work with teams and deliver feedback to operators concerning identified issues
Experience using computers Microsoft Office Suite and other web applications.
Ability and experience in reading interpreting engineering drawings and other related technical drawings and models.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Ability and willingness to climb ladders, stand/walk for long periods of time and lift heavy objects.
Understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
Work along of as a member of a team Initiative, teamwork, flexibility & attention to detail
Candidates must already have a work authorization that allows them to work for ABB in the United States
