Airswift has been tasked by one of its major O&G clients to seek an I&E inspector.

MAIN FUNCTIONS:

• Define the scope of all pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, assign workloads, and review and implement standards/procedures including man-hour estimating, cost estimating, budgeting, and progress reporting for instrumentation scope for all phases of the project.
• Supports development and execution of centralized engineering services for existing upstream production operating units and new upstream capital projects to maintain safety availability and reliability of the instrument and control systems while optimizing cost.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Liaise with customers, vendors, engineers, and other discipline as required.
• Participate in HAZOP/LOPA reviews and other technical, constructability and quality reviews.
• Assist in the Design, Review, and Approval of Instrumentation-related engineering deliverables, i.e. instrument indexes, installation details, location drawings, datasheets, wiring drawings, loop drawings, P&IDs, material requisitions, evaluation of alternatives and selection of instruments, calculations (control valve, flow elements, pressure safety valves), document control logs, bill of materials and instrument change approvals.
• Support project Acceptance Testing (AT) including: reviewing procedures, assigning resources, periodically attending AT, and adjust commissioning scope to integrate AT successes and deficiencies.
• Develop, track, and adjust the commissioning execution schedule.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• 15+ years of related professional experience.
• 10+ years of supervisory experience in the related field.
• Extensive knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria.
• Able to review, evaluate, and update cause and effect, P&IDs, logic and architecture diagrams and control narratives.
• Experience in selection, application, and ISA data sheet specification of hardware including pressure/temperature /level instruments, control valves, shutdown valves, and fire/gas detection Proficient in SAP.
• Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite programs.
