Your role and responsibilities

In this role you will support a brand-new factory with manufacturing execution system (MES) to ensure operational efficiency and enhancing the quality of the manufacturing processes. The work model for the role is: Onsite #LI-Onsite. This role is contributing to the Motion Drive Products division in New Berlin, WI. You will be mainly accountable for: - Serve as main resource to provide system knowledge and support to shop floor management and operators. - Monitor and support production incidents associated with the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) system. - Collaborating with global application service providers and cross function local resources to resolve systematic issues. - Test new solutions and provide training to operators and line leads. - Maintain documentations to ensure up to date information shared with organization. - Support new factory ramp up activities and issue resolutions with prompt turnaround. - Drive continuous improvement with global and local IS service delivery team to application solution and reliability. Qualifications for the role

• - Bachelor's degree in business administration,
• information system management or engineering
• and 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or
• production environment.
• - 2+ years' experience with supporting production
• processes including documentation of SOPs and
• Work Instructions, and Continuous Improvement.
• - Exposure to a Manufacturing Execution System /
• Shop Floor System.
• - Excellent written and verbal communication in
• English.
• - Candidates must already have a work authorization
• that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• - Experience with SAP Manufacturing Execution
• System.
• - Experience with SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud
• (DMC).
• - Experience with Power BI.
