Are you a skilled Planner eager to make a significant contribution in a leading-edge, global organization? Take on a key role at our client as a Crew Planner, where you'll ensure the seamless and efficient operation of the offshore fleet. This is a full time function.

Function description

In collaboration with the Crew Operations team, you'll be responsible for managing personnel schedules across the fleet, creating optimal schedules that meet project and vessel demands and help drive successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Take charge of the crew planning process for the assigned disciplines, managing up to several hundred personnel across all vessels.
• Be the main point of contact for vessel superintendents when it comes to planning-related issues.
• Build strong partnerships with key stakeholders, such as HR, VMT, L&D, and Crew, and work together with Operations Managers to meet long-term staffing needs.
• Work with Discipline Managers to assess resource requirements and make informed decisions regarding crew assignments.
• Provide essential input on planning and special requirements to the Crew Operations Team.
• Identify and report crew shortages or excesses to HR and Operations, ensuring timely and efficient solutions to any planning challenges.
• Keep in close contact with the vessels regarding crew composition, ensuring balanced experience levels across the team.
• Partner with HR to support the career development and promotion of crew members.

Requirements

• Previous experience in planning, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex tasks.
• Adaptable to changing priorities and the ability to manage unforeseen circumstances with confidence.
• Comfortable seeking assistance from your team when needed, while also being supportive of colleagues when they require help.
• Strong communication skills, both assertive and diplomatic, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders, including crew, superintendents, and captains.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of Dutch is a bonus.
