We have an immediate opening for a Laboratory Analyst at our Chickasaw, AL location. The successful candidate's primary role will be to provide analytical data to production in support of manufacturing. Keen attention to detail and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment is a must. Experience working in an industrial laboratory environment is preferred but not required. This is a 24/7 rotating shift position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Adhere to all HSE guidelines and treat safety as the top priority.
  • Perform analytical testing using a variety of instrumentation and techniques such as: XRD, ICP-OES, pH Meters, UV-Vis, etc.
  • Help ensure first pass quality by providing analytical results in a timely manner to operations.
  • Help support quality system by running analytical standards and maintain written records according to policy.

YOU MUST HAVE
  • High School diploma
  • Basic understanding of science with a demonstrated mathematical ability
  • Good communication skills, written and verbal
  • Good record keeping skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced & high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to follow complex procedures and work independently with limited supervision.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
