We are seeking a skilled Compressor Operator to join our team on a 1-year contract in Big Lake, Texas. With the possibility of extension, this is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in gas compressor and facility operations while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Role Overview

• Learn daily gas compressor and compressor facility operations, ensuring good housekeeping and maintaining up-to-date reporting.
• Handle on call duties and drive company vehicle to locations as needed.
• Work in learning mode, using appropriate tools to identify, diagnose, and repair/replace equipment.
• Perform basic trouble shooting and maintain technological efficiency.
• Interact with Foremen, Compressor Operators, Mechanics, and Lease Operators on a daily basis.
• Occasionally work side-by-side with contractors.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor, including special projects.

Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent certification required.
• Prior experience in Compressor gas lift operations preferred.
• Mechanical or oilfield related experience required - 2.5 years preferred.
• Prior mechanical and/or oil field experience.
• Valid vehicle operator's license with an insurable driving record.

Education & Experience
