JOB DESCRIPTION

We are an international service company within the Oil & Gas industry. Our core business is Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and examination, maintenance and repair services on Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG) as well as the development, manufacturing and sale of inspection equipment. The Company has been in Celle, Germany for more than 50 years and opened its Romanian Branch office in Targoviste in 2005.

We are currently looking for: NDT Inspector

Duties & responsibilities:

• Performs NDT inspection according to the standards and procedures, as instructed by the Supervisor or Manager
• Prepares the inspection reports without mistake
• Presents the inspection reports and the work order to the customer, for acceptance
• Uses the inspection equipment and the vehicles of the company in a proper manner
• Maintains the cleanliness of the workplace and the inspection equipment
• Performs minor maintenance on the inspection equipment
• Has a proper and decent behavior in relation with his/her colleagues and customer representatives
• Follows the HSE instructions and immediately announces any events in relation with HSE
• Stops work immediately in case of imminent danger and notifies the HSE responsible person

Qualifications:

• Professional education/training in electrical or metallurgy
• Knowledge in the field of Non-Destructive Testing, ideally in the Oil and Gas industry
• Level II ASNT - II or EN 9712 for MT with minimum 3 years of proven experience
• Knowledge in thread gauging and evaluation are benefitial
• Knowledge of MS Office
• Possession of a valid driving licence
• Good command of oral and written English
