Are you ready to join our team as a Production Technician IV? As a contract employee, you will have the opportunity to work full-time from 01-Apr-2025 to 31-Dec-2025 in Shreveport, Louisiana, United States. We are seeking a highly-motivated individual with a growth mindset and experience in electrical, safety behavior, and productivity. Optional skills in I/E, electrical, programming, artificial lift systems, and nodal analysis are a plus. Join us and be a part of our dynamic and hands-on work environment as we install new infrastructure, perform repairs and maintenance, and investigate customer issues.

Role Overview
  • Install new infrastructure (well, equipment, facilities) in the field.
  • Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on existing equipment.
  • Diagnose issues and conduct root cause failure analysis.
  • Conduct pre and post job reviews.
  • Handle contractor work and collect data/validate conditions.
  • Investigate customer/3rd party issues.
  • Support a continuous improvement business mindset.
  • Periodically verify business processes for quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with other teams to drive improvement into the business.
  • Maintain safety standards and drive out non-desired outcomes.
  • Participate in team processes to improve safety culture.
  • Learn and conduct basic failure analysis and nodal analysis.
  • Use data to drive decision-making.
  • Stay updated on new technology and its applications.
  • Utilize artificial lift systems such as plunger lift, pumping units, and compression.
  • Work on a 7-day on call/weekend coverage rotation every third or fourth week.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with remote staff using phone, video, Office 365, or virtual assist technology.
  • Strong analytical skills to leverage data and resources to resolve daily issues in the field.
  • Ability to gain full cycle understanding of oil and gas operating systems from reservoir to sales line.
  • Proactive in scheduling activities and building partnerships with others.
  • Identify training gaps within the team and seek opportunities to increase capability and capacity.
  • Proven problem-solving ability with impactful results in a similar setting.
  • High level of aptitude and interest in new technology.
  • Working knowledge of artificial lift systems and nodal analysis.
  • High school diploma required.

Education & Experience
  • Experience in oil and gas or other manufacturing/industrial business preferred.
  • Technical school certificate or degree preferred.
  • Electrical and mechanical background with experience in lean processes environment preferred.
  • Growth mindset with proven ability to learn and adapt quickly preferred.
  • Excellent listening and social skills with an upbeat and confident approach preferred.
  • Experience managing contractors to ensure safe job execution preferred.
  • Adaptable to changes in the work environment and handling challenging demands preferred.
  • Understanding of databases, data entry, and use of apps to enter data preferred.
