Our Planning Engineering department in Angola , Luanda is now looking for a Senior Planning Engineer .

• Ensure familiarity with and actively promote Aker Solutions' HSEQ Policies, Principles, HSE Mindset, and HSE Operating System.
• Demonstrate HSE leadership of HSEQ Policies, HSE Mindset, and HSE Operating system.
• Be seen as a role model on HSE matters within your areas of operation and influence.
• Take personal responsibility for HSE local site rules and ensure regular review of your personal HSE agreement.
• Intervene and ensure intervention by others where required.
• Report all accidents, observations, incidents and near misses in Synergi Life in accordance with relevant Procedures.

What will you be doing?

• Provide high level technical expertise
• Delivery of the project schedules and baselines for the project work scopes.
• Maintenance of the project overall planning requirements.
• Ensure all relevant project procedures are applied as required.
• Maintenance of overall project schedules for progress and man-hour expenditure.
• Preparation and issue of all planning status and the impact of changes in the scope of work and provide recommendations to the project line management.
• Participation in client presentations and meetings.
• Update and maintenance of the Integrated Work Management System, ensuring system integrity at all times.

Supervision of the project planning personnel, where no Lead Planner is on the contract

We think you should have:

• In depth understanding of the oil and gas industry
• Highly competent user of industry standard planning tools ( e.g. Primavera P6) / systems
• Knowledge and understanding of project planning, systems and tools within the following areas

• Turnkey EPC projects.
• Large brownfield modifications.
• Minor brownfield modifications and term contracts.
• Front End Studies
• Operations and Maintenance Planning
• Integrated Asset Planning
