Elevate Your Career in Lease Operator

We are seeking a skilled Lease Operator to join our team in Franklin, Louisiana. This is a full-time contract position with the duration of 02-04-2025 to 06-04-2026.

Role Overview

• Perform daily operations and maintenance of gas compression, wellhead equipment, vessels tanks & columns, and compressor/pumping stations.
• Wear FRC clothing and all necessary PPE while on site.
• Demonstrate basic knowledge of wellhead operations and the ability to change and read chokes.
• Operate gas compressors and properly load and unload as needed.
• Familiarity with glycol system for drying gas and taking dew point readings.
• Utilize MS Excel spreadsheets, timesheets, and other paperwork for record keeping.
• Experience with HP & LP separators, gauges, total flow meters, and gas charts.
• Maintain chemical & oil day tanks and check chemical pump rates daily.
• Operate saltwater pumps, crude oil pumps, and check lube oil system for proper operation on all rotating equipment.
• Conduct oil barge or truck transfer operations and complete DOI reports & run tickets.
• Test wells and fill out state approved well test information.
• Possess knowledge of wellhead and downhole operations, gas lift systems, and cap string operations.
• Experience with wireline and coil tubing operations.
• Train others as needed and have experience with crane or forklift operations.

Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to work well with co-workers and show up for crew change on time.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with MS Excel.
• Familiarity with FRC clothing, PPE, chokes, gas compressors, glycol system, dew point readings, HP & LP separators, gauges, total flow meters, gas charts, chemical & oil day tanks, chemical pump rates, saltwater pumps, crude oil pumps, lube oil system, oil barge or truck transfer operations, DOI reports & run tickets, testing wells, well test information, wellhead & downhole knowledge, gas lift systems, cap string operations, wireline, and coil tubing.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with a remote team.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
• Certifications in relevant areas such as gas compression or wellhead equipment advantageous.
