This position reports to
Production Engineering Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to optimize the Production organization's assembly processes and equipment to minimize labor hours in accordance with business strategies related to quality, efficiency, costs, and safety. Each day, you will ensure appropriate production solutions delivering automatic solutions that grant optimized equipment performance. You will also showcase your expertise by defining the working phase sequence of a new production process to achieve the targeted product cost and equipment investment budget. The work model for the role is mainly onsite with good autonomy level and possibility to work remotely. This role is contributing to the Product Group Protection and Energy Management operations located in S.Palomba (Rome) within the Smart Building Division. You will be mainly accountable for: - monitoring the process performance handling electronic and software production criticalities in partnership with quality, maintenance and production teams. - contributing to the process sequence definition, calculation of the proper cycle time and implementation of improvements to machinery or production equipment. - supporting internal and external production during start-ups by training indirect and direct staff. - providing Supply Chain Management (SCM) teams with the proper documentation in order to support the supplier evaluation and agreements. - participating to development activities for hw/sw platforms of assembling, calibrating and testing machines. - investigating and implementing IoT technologies to create smart solution applicable to every kind of machine.

Qualifications for the role
- Degree in Electronic, Computer or Mechatronic engineering bachelor or master.
- Up to 2 years of experience in automation design / sw programming.
- Good knowledge of Italian and English.
- Good knowledge of Office package.
- Knowledge of Embedded Systems Programming Languages.
- Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming Languages in particular C# and .NET
- Knowledge of functional test benches for circuit boards or electronic products is a plus
- Team-working attitude and good communication skills.
