PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise shift while planning, producing, or shipping fiberglass products as scheduled
- Attain production or shipping goals as specified by the Plant Manager
- Motivate employees to give maximum effort in a professional manner
- Ensure that all safety procedures are being followed
- Maintain weekly employee attendance records
- Maintain accurate production, inventory, or shipping data
- Hold departmental meetings as needed to discuss updates and/or changes in company policies, procedures, goals, etc.
- Wear appropriate PPE
- Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines, and procedures
- Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines, and procedures
- Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines, and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to work overtime and shift work as required
- Standing up to 12 hours daily
- Walking up to 12 hours daily
- Bending/Stooping up to 12 hours daily
- Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily
- Lifting weights to 50 lbs. regularly
- Push/Pull up to 12 hours daily
- Travel less than 10%
- Ability to plan and work with computer-controlled equipment
- Understand complex manufacturing, shipping specifications
- Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties as required
- Ability to learn technical repair and assembly guidelines and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to read drawings, instructions, or perform repair and assembly operations
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in all aspects of the manufacturing process
- A forklift license is preferred but not required
- Previous supervisor or management in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Candidate must be located or willing to commute to Iuka, Mississippi
