Goods In Inspector

We have an opportunity for a Goods In Inspector to join us at Honeywell, in Poole, where you will be responsible for ensuring that all incoming and outgoing products meet site quality standards, specifications and regulatory requirements. The role involves conducting inspections, identifying defects, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

This role is 100% on-site at our Poole location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect incoming goods for quality and compliance with specifications. Conduct routine checks and quality audits on products and materials. Maintain accurate records of inspections and compliance data
  • Document inspection results and prepare reports on findings. Identify and report defects, discrepancies, or safety issues
  • Collaborate with suppliers and production teams to resolve quality issues. Monitor supplier performance and engage when issues arise. Support supplier transitions when required.
  • Maintain Calibration database and manage department items requiring calibration.
  • Play an active role in the quality team to maintain the effective running and maintenance of the sites quality management system to ensure compliance to regulatory body requirements.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in quality control preferred.
  • Proven experience in quality inspection or a related field.
  • Familiarity with quality standards and safety regulations (e.g., ISO).
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions based on findings.
  • Proficient with inspection tools and software
