Field Specialist - Surface Production Systems

The Field Specialist is responsible for coordinating and overseeing work at the field site, providing quality service to the customer. This includes wellhead Installation, job design, repair and maintenance and follow up activities. The Field Specialist also provides the planning necessary for the job including instructions to the crew and equipment used.

Responsibilities:

• Perform on-site installation of Wellhead equipment and conduct ongoing preventive maintenance, repair, and calibration post-installation. Respond promptly to emergencies.
• Provide technical instruction and assistance to customer representatives regarding installation, operation, calibration, repair, and maintenance at customer sites.
• Execute procedures for the installation of Wellhead Equipment efficiently and effectively.
• Carry out repair, maintenance, and rectifications of Wellhead Equipment in workshops as required.
• Fulfill Service Ticket requirements, including writing technical reports, completing service technical forms with all necessary information, conducting Job Safety Analysis (JSA), risk assessment, and Manage of Change (MOC).
• Stay updated on the latest bill of materials and drawings of wellhead systems for assigned field jobs.
• Train local Field Specialists in the field when needed.
• Respond to customer queries to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Provide leadership and technical direction to skilled workers performing jobs at customer sites.
• Write technical reports, order materials, secure quotations, prepare customer reports, and complete time and expense sheets in a timely manner.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable product line warranties.

Training and Educational Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in a Technical, Engineering, or related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in troubleshooting Wellhead Equipment.
• Extensive technical knowledge of Wellhead Equipment.
• Experience in providing innovative and adaptive technical solutions and support to customers.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team
• Strong communication skills and team player mentality.
• Adaptability in an ever-changing, dynamic environment.
