- Wood currently looking for Quality Assurance Lead to support the application of quality principles, systems, and measures within the quality management system
across the project. - Focused on improving delivery efficiency, customer satisfaction, and reducing potential risks and rework while complying with quality policies and standards. Develops project-specific Quality Plans and Procedures, sets project-specific KPIs, and measures performance against these KPIs, emphasizing the reasons for underperformance, recommendations for improvement, and continuous improvement activities. Ensures compliance with the Wood Business Management System through a structured assurance program. Plans, implements, and reports both internal and external audits in accordance with agreed Wood processes and the audit schedule. Supports measures that ensure predictable delivery and continuous improvement by utilizing performance data to make fact-based decisions. Engages with and presents information and data to the project management team to enable preventive interventions.
- Works with the Project Quality Manager to support the management of all aspects of quality across the project, from Quality Planning to the close-out stage. • Identifies and regularly engages with key stakeholders to promote quality and gather feedback on performance. • Reviews supplier pre-qualification and bid submissions to ensure they meet project quality requirements, including the "Quality, Inspection & Surveillance Requirements for Company Contractors, Subcontractors, and Vendors/Suppliers." • Ensures pre-inspection meetings with suppliers to confirm a detailed understanding of arrangements for compliance with project quality requirements. • Implements the Wood Business Management System (BMS) across project personnel, ensuring effective application and routine monitoring, assessment, and improvement of compliance. • Ensures consistent and effective implementation of quality support systems across the project, such as NCR, progressive learning, and customer satisfaction systems
RESPONSIBILITIES

- Ensures attendance by inspectors for selected critical inspections, tests, and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) as necessary based on the suppliers' Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), to ensure the highest level of confidence in the procured equipment. • Monitors and analyzes delivery performance data, regularly reporting themes and trends to the Project Quality Manager and undertaking interventions as required. • Gathers and acts upon customer feedback, ensuring actions are taken to maintain and improve customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrates the ability to present business cases and facts to influence project leaders and peers. • Applies knowledge and solutions to ensure compliance with regulatory, industry, and internal Wood standards. • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, influencing quality standards and practices across the project
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree or diploma (or local equivalent) in Quality Management, Project Management, or a related discipline. • Lead Auditor qualification from a recognized industry body. • Formal training in recognized root cause analysis techniques
- Knowledge, skills and experience: • 15+ years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance, including leading Quality Assurance, Supplier Quality Management, Quality Planning, Auditing, and Third-Party Inspection (TPI) Management. • Comprehensive understanding in industry standards ISO 9001, ISO 10005, ISO 19011 etc.. • Proficient in the analysis of processes and data • Proficient in Microsoft Office • High level communication skills in both written and spoken formats
