We have 86 quarries and 56 asphalt plants across Tennessee, Mississippi, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, Kentucky, Arkansas, Texas, Indiana, Illinois, and Ohio.

Rogers Group is currently seeking a Plant Operator for our quarry located in Springdale, Arkansas. The successful candidate for this role will have previous experience operating a crushing plant or working with crushers, conveyors, and screens. The successful candidate must also possess a strong commitment to safety excellence.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor a crushing facility production controls
• Routine equipment / plant maintenance, and involvement with plant improvement projects
• Operate production equipment as needed - such as a haul truck, wheeled loader, or skid steer
• Clean-up around site
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Uncompromising focus on safety excellence.
• Mining Experience preferred!
• 1+ years of experience operating a crushing plant preferred.
• Previous fixed plant maintenance or related industry experience is preferred.
• Able to do safety and maintenance inspections throughout the day.
• Capable of demonstrating equipment and troubleshooting knowledge.
• Ability to understand basic safety and work instruction.
• Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills required.
• Good organizational, scheduling and time management skills.
• Welding experience helpful along with general maintenance and repair abilities.
• Experience in heavy equipment operation a plus, but not required.
• Team player mentality.
• Working outdoors in varied weather conditions with the probability of dust, noise, heat, and cold.
• Must pass pre-employment drug testing.
