- Ensure that the company is providing a safe work environment for its employees.
- Assist the Plant Manager in investigating all injuries, property damage, yard maintenance.
- Report any procedures not being followed in other departments to the Plant Supervisor.
- Responsible for shipping and receiving.
- Responsible for the packaging, painting (except for in the warehouse) doping, stenciling, phosphate coating, ensuring product ID is clear of any debris, etc.
- Mark incoming product with WO# and customer markings.
- Maintain a daily log of truck activity, and product moves, and inventory throughout the yard into the facility utilizing NOV GOLD.
- Conduct NORM test for incoming used Product and creating a NORM report.
- Keeping equipment under your use in prime condition.
- Forklift Operator will be trained according to the Training Matrix.
Qualifications:
- The Forklift Operator should have the physical stature to perform his duties for 8-12 hours per day.
- Shall not have any reoccurring physical problems that would be aggravated by this type of work.
- Should be licensed to operate forklifts. He must be able to read and write.
- Must be familiar with the Company Quality Manual and Company safety policies as related to the yard.
