In this role, you will select suppliers through qualification processes, own supplier results and audits, drive improvements utilizing supplier scorecards, and drive improvement plans where needed.
The Lead Manufacturing Specialist has direct knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others and is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Includes both Supplier Quality Assurance and Supplier Quality Development
- Includes supplier qualifications, action plans, audits, performance monitoring, and assisting key suppliers towards industrial standards of excellence
- Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a discipline and analytical thinking to execute policy/strategy. Basic knowledge of related job disciplines.
- Utilize coatings experience to act as material and process expert during root cause investigations, Lean improvements, lead PFMEA workshops, and manage process improvement projects.
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements
- Explains information, developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of Advanced Coatings & Manufacturing experience)
- Minimum of 3 additional years of Advanced Coatings and Manufacturing experience
