Your role and responsibilities

**Full-time Summer Internship in Montreal** As an IT and Electronics Intern, you will be responsible for designing and updating the electronic systems of ABB products, including printed circuit board testers and emergency lighting products, ensuring the highest quality of our products. Reporting to the Quality/SSE Department Manager, you will work as an Electronics Designer (intern) within the operations team. • Design and program test software (LabView). • Participate in writing LabView programming documentation, as well as test and commissioning documentation. • Assist in the commissioning of the program. • Perform tests and help debug technical issues by working closely with the operations team members. • Identify opportunities for improving internal processes related to electronics and propose solutions.

Qualifications for the role

  • Excellent skills in LabView.
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate with other departments.
  • Good stress and pressure management in critical situations.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Good knowledge of French and English, both spoken and written. French is required. English is necessary to communicate with clients outside Quebec on a regular basis.
