Primary Responsibilites:
- Inspect welded pipe areas to ensure structural soundness and dimensional accuracy.
- Apply various Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) methods to verify quality standards.
- Communicate inspection results and collaborate with production teams for corrective action.
Job Duties:
- Record inspection data daily, including the number of welded ends and types of non-conformances.
- Accurately read and interpret technical drawings to determine product specifications.
- Use precise measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and pit gauges.
- Work in both indoor and outdoor environments for extended periods (minimum 8 hours).
- Perform physically active tasks including walking, bending, stooping, and lifting.
- Adhere strictly to all NOV, company, and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) guidelines.
Education and Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- A minimum of 6 months of Assembly, Quality Inspection, Quality Control, or Industrial Manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Must achieve at least 80% on a basic math and reading comprehension exam.
- Basic computer skills required for data entry and reporting.
- Must pass an Industrial Eye Exam with near visual acuity.
