About This Role

*This role is based out of Bloomington, CA but requires frequent travel throughout Southern California. Per diem is provided and hotel paid for by company when traveling overnight.

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Pipefitter to support retrofit and mechanical system installation projects throughout Southern California. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems, HVAC components, and mechanical equipment in commercial and industrial sectors.

What You'll Do

• Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems, valves, and mechanical equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Perform layout and fabrication of piping systems using various materials (copper, steel, PVC, etc.).
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades on job sites.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and local building codes.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems as needed.

What You'll Bring

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid driver's license and willingness to commute to various worksites in the area
• 3+ years of experience in mechanical or pipefitting roles (retrofit experience preferred)
• Proficient in reading mechanical drawings and specifications
• Willingness to travel and stay overnight as needed
• Strong proficiency HVAC systems, chilled water, steam, and hydronic piping
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and OSHA regulations
