JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

• Operate equipment to manufacture powder and liquid coatings. Able to follow work order instructions with proper documentation to complete work assignments.
• Completes an accurate count of materials received. Completes a visual inspection identifying any damage to material and reports problems and/or concerns to responsible level(s) of management.
• Marks incoming product with a receiving packing list and lot number.
• Recommends and implements pre-approved measures to improve equipment performance and work methods.
• Supports and actively participates in the evaluation of JSA's and safety related activities/training.
• Seeks technical/supervisor expertise to resolve production and quality related issues.
• Work shifts as prescribed by Management, with overtime as needed.
• Work shifts as prescribed by Management, with overtime as needed.
• Helps maintain a safe working environment through good housekeeping and adherence to all environmental health and safety policies, including the proper use of PPE.

Physical Demands:

• Lifting- Raising or lowering an object from one level to another (includes upward pulling).
• Carrying- Transporting an object, usually holding it in the hands or arms, or on the shoulder.
• Pushing- Exerting force upon an object so that the object moves away from the force.
• Pulling- Exerting force upon an object so that the object moves towards the force.
• Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 55 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Facility Specific Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all material is properly handled, stored, and shipped according to their specifications.
• Perform any routine inspection of equipment required by manufacturers recommendations.
• Receive and maintain forklift certification per NOV HSE requirements.
• Will be required to work indoors/outdoors.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Previous experience with forklift operation preferred but not required
