Position - Mechanical Fitter
Location - Wilton, Redcar
Project - Shutdown
Duration - 4 Weeks
Start - 29th September 2025
Requirement: 9
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities
Read, understand and implement all applicable company / project policies, working practices and procedures, ensuring at all times that the plating/structural work scope is completed safely and to a high standard
Follow the schedule communicated by the supervisor
Complete all workscope in accordance with applicable workpack / jobcard instructions, associated procedures and drawings / sketches
Provide support to other trades/disciplines where required, or form part of an integrated multi-discipline team
Apply for relevant permits to work (PTW) in order to complete workscope in a controlled and safe manner (onshore only)
Undertake appropriate Risk Assessments (RA) in order to complete workscope in a safe and controlled manner
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications and Experience
Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter in industrial environments, preferably within the oil, gas, or related sectors.Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced shutdown environment.
Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work in shifts and adapt to changing project requirements.
Relevant mechanical fitter qualifications/certifications (such as NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
CCNSG Safety passport
Wood mandatory training, induction, risk awareness, etc
