You'll be the key liaison between construction, QA/QC, and operations readiness teams—ensuring that modules are built right, inspected thoroughly, and ready to ship.
🛠️ Your Key Responsibilities
- Act as the field-level focal point for the Operations Readiness team.
- Lead and document walkdowns, punch list verification, and quality checks with a focus on piping, vessel cleanliness, and preservation tracking.
- Execute and track inspections aligned with the Mitigation of Repeated Failures (MRF) program.
- Coordinate with construction contractors, QA/QC, and engineering to resolve field-level issues.
- Be a visible safety leader, conducting field safety walks and upholding safety culture and compliance.
- Maintain daily logs of construction activities, inspection findings, and interface notes.
- Support Ready-to-Ship inspections, labelling of piping based on P&IDs, and preparation for transport.
- Provide support in investigations, causal learning sessions, and operational handovers.
- 10 years of experience in production operations, construction support, or commissioning.
- Valid 4th Class Power Engineering certificate or equivalent.
- Familiarity with hydrogen, CCS, steam, and water treatment systems is a strong asset.
- Strong understanding of field execution and construction site dynamics.
- Exceptional communication and coordination skills across multi-disciplinary teams.
- Experience with walkdowns, inspection logging, punchlisting, and preservation protocols.
- Able to adapt to schedule changes and balance multiple stakeholder needs.
- A team-first mindset and commitment to safety and operational excellence.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license.
- Ability to pass Fall Arrest and Confined Space Entry training.
- Willingness to comply with drug-free and respectful workplace standards.
- Onsite presence required at the Mod Yard near Edmonton, AB (no remote work).
