GEAESS is our largest site for engine component Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO), responsible for more than 60% of our global repair volume.
Role Overview:
Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to support our Lean Transformation and Model Line Maturity initiatives. This role will focus on substantiating in-cell vacuum furnace and in-cell ADH (Activated Diffusion Healing) line processes, replacing out-cell processes to enhance operational efficiency. The intern will work closely with cross-functional teams to bring these processes into the production line, reducing motion, transportation, waiting time, and cycle time. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in lean manufacturing principles and contribute to impactful projects that drive operational excellence.

Required Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
- Basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles and tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, interpret, and present data.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with lean tools such as value stream mapping, kaizen, or standard work.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies.
- Previous internship or project experience in a manufacturing or operations environment.
