Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Directional Drill Operators for projects located in and around Canyon, TX. This is a full time opportunity with a pay range of up to $26/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

• Operate horizontal directional drills according to blueprints and job specifications
• Use locating equipment to identify existing utilities
• Operate Hydro Vac equipment, backhoes, trenchers, mini excavators, boom trucks, and more
• Perform underground conduit installations and expose utilities using hand tools
• Conduct routine maintenance on directional drilling equipment (e.g., vice jaw changes, sub saver installation)
• Perform construction site cleanup and assist the crew with other duties
• Haul equipment to and from job sites using a truck and trailer
• Ensure accurate documentation for materials, equipment use, and time
• Deliver materials and perform general labor as needed
• Identify and report equipment deficiencies and ensure "one call" tickets are current
• Train other team members when assigned

Requirements:

• • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform minor equipment maintenance
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Experience with utility construction and underground locating equipment is preferred
  • Willingness to travel throughout Amarillo and nearby regions
  • Must adhere to company procedures, safety standards, and state regulations
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a crew
