Job Description Summary

Location, Location, Location!

This position is based in Grand Rapids, MI-a city where innovation meets craft beer-or Clearwater, FL, where the beaches are so stunning, you might start holding team meetings on the sand (just kidding... maybe). With a blend of onsite and hybrid work arrangements, you'll get the best of both worlds: 2-3 days a week in the office to collaborate with your brilliant teammates, and the rest of the time working from wherever your creative juices flow (home office, coffee shop, or even your favorite hammock).

And if you're thinking, "But I don't live in either of these amazing places," don't worry-we've got you covered with an extensive corporate relocation package. Yes, we'll help you move, and no, you don't have to pack your soldering iron yourself.

  • You'll enjoy the perks of living in Grand Rapids, MI-a city with great food, outdoor adventures, and a cost of living that won't make you cry-or Clearwater, FL, where you can trade snow boots for flip-flops and enjoy sunsets that look like they belong in a postcard.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Leading bids, proposals, and product concepts for new electronic products.
  • Driving strategic technology planning and multi-generational product development.
  • Designing and implementing concept solutions for Independent Research and Development (IRAD) projects.

  • Impedance matching, power regulation, and voltage drop analysis.
  • Built-in-test (BIT) implementation and more!

What We're Looking For:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Electronics Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • 8-10 years of experience in electronic design.
  • Proven expertise in electronic product development.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • A lean mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

Bonus Points For:
  • A Master's degree in engineering.
  • Experience in complex avionics systems development.
  • Cross-domain expertise in electronic design, custom logic design, and software development.
  • Direct customer engagement experience.
  • Knowledge of EMC, thermal testing, and product qualification.
