Inspection & Compliance
- Perform equipment inspections per API 510, API 653 and APPI 570 standards
- Act as Authorized Inspector for pressure vessels, piing and storage tanks
- Ensure inspections align with RAGAGEP and OSHA 1910.119
- Develop/Authorize/Maintain standardized inspection plans
- Complete post-inspection reports with actionable short term and long term recommendations
- Update SAP and equipment files with inspection history and plans
- Maintain documentation per corporate and site MIQA practices
- Develop and document repair plans for fixed equipment
- Perform field contract administration duties during field repairs of equipment
- Evaluate fitness-for-service and remaining life of equipment
- Ensure all repairs to fixed equipment is documented in accordance with OSHA 1910.117
- Create QA plans for new equipment fabrication
- Perform/coordinate QA inspections on –site and at shop locations
Technical oversight
- Provide guidance to client and contract NDE examiners
- Evaluate NDE results and recommend actions
- Perform calculations for minimum allowable thickness or critical equipment
- Manage and implement the Corrosion Monitoring program (PSAIM®)
- Coordinate contract NDE inspections and perform field administration
Qualifications:
Education/Experience
- 3 years working experience within high hazardous chemical processing or oil refining industries
- At least 2 of 3 of the following certifications: API 510, API 570, API 653
- Available to travel approximately 30% of the year
