Primary Responsibilities:
Inspection & Compliance

• Perform equipment inspections per API 510, API 653 and APPI 570 standards
• Act as Authorized Inspector for pressure vessels, piing and storage tanks
• Ensure inspections align with RAGAGEP and OSHA 1910.119

Documentation & Reporting

• Develop/Authorize/Maintain standardized inspection plans
• Complete post-inspection reports with actionable short term and long term recommendations
• Update SAP and equipment files with inspection history and plans
• Maintain documentation per corporate and site MIQA practices

Repair & Maintenance

• Develop and document repair plans for fixed equipment
• Perform field contract administration duties during field repairs of equipment
• Evaluate fitness-for-service and remaining life of equipment
• Ensure all repairs to fixed equipment is documented in accordance with OSHA 1910.117

Quality Assurance

• Create QA plans for new equipment fabrication
• Perform/coordinate QA inspections on –site and at shop locations

Technical oversight

• Provide guidance to client and contract NDE examiners
• Evaluate NDE results and recommend actions
• Perform calculations for minimum allowable thickness or critical equipment

Program Management

• Manage and implement the Corrosion Monitoring program (PSAIM®)
• Coordinate contract NDE inspections and perform field administration

Qualifications:

Education/Experience
 

• 3 years working experience within high hazardous chemical processing or oil refining industries
• At least 2 of 3 of the following certifications: API 510, API 570, API 653
• Available to travel approximately 30% of the year
