This Position reports to:

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end planning of inventory, including Sales over invoicing from purchase requisition to customer invoice. Each day, you will support internal customer service inquiries. You will also showcase your expertise by setting inventory parameters and targets and ensuring adequate replenishment of inventory through purchase orders.

The work model for the role is onsite. #LI-Onsite

This role is contributing to the IPU Stand Alone team in the Electrification Smart Power Division in Quartino, Switzerland.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Defining inventory policies based on specified segmentation.
• Calculating and maintaining the inventory parameters, including safety stock, reorder point, lot size, lead time, and replenishment strategies, in the planning systems and the ERPs.
• Coordinating material planning with call-offs to ensure that purchase requisitions are converted into purchase orders in collaboration with operations buyers and services.
• Collaborating with buyers to achieve the best possible supplier performance in terms of supplier on-time delivery, Minimum Order Quantity, quality, lead time, and flexibility.

Qualifications for the role

• 2 years of experience in material planning activities.
• At ease working with tools like MS Excel, MRP, Power BI, and MS Office.
• Proficiency in SAP.
• Passion for working in teams and leading projects to bring value to our customers.
• Fluency in Italian (English is a plus).
