The Position
Operator - Quarry C

Job Summary

Purpose of Position:

Operate and utilize various pieces of Quarry Equipment

Primary Duties:

1. Perform all pre-shift and safety inspections of assigned equipment

2. Operate equipment efficiently for plant support.

3. Operate equipment in a safe and timely manner

4. Keep assigned piece of equipment clean and in good working condition

5. Obey all safety operating and work guidelines

6. Other duties as assigned.

Machines & Equipment Involved:

- Haul Truck, Water Truck

- Working Conditions:

- Indoor and outdoors

- Various weather conditions

Experience:

- Previous experience in operating machinery and equipment in an Industrial environment is preferred.

Skills Requirements:

- Communications skills including verbal, non-verbal, listening, interpreting and understanding instructions.

- Consulting effectively with coworkers concerning work and schedules.

-Ability to work as part of a large team.

- Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently.

- Ability to communicate effectively and to use hand and eye coordination in the operations of the equipment.

Other Required Activities:
