In this role, you will have the opportunity to generate a detailed production schedule based on the production plan to optimize the use of resources and meet established production specifications and schedules. As a production planner, you will play a key role in operational production planning and contribute to optimizing our production processes

Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to generate a detailed production schedule based on the production plan to optimize the use of resources and meet established production specifications and schedules. As a production planner, you will play a key role in operational production planning and contribute to optimizing our production processes

This role is contributing to the division Motion High Power in Switzerland.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Creating and maintaining a detailed production schedule based on the overall production plan, including the release of production orders as well as the definition of workflows and lead times to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Executing daily material requirements planning (MRP) at plant level and monitoring production progress against customer demand, material availability, capacity, and product mix.
- Continuously balancing capacity requirements and availability, identifying bottlenecks, maintaining and updating master data, and optimizing inventory levels.
- Closely collaborating with internal stakeholders such as Production, Procurement, Sales, Engineering, and Project Management.
- Applying SAP ERP as well as reporting and advanced planning systems (APS) to support planning and analysis.
- Contributing to process improvement projects, particularly in the area of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).
Qualifications for the role
- You have completed a technical or commercial vocational education in a production-related field and hold or are pursuing a higher professional education (HF).
- You are highly skilled in SAP ERP and enjoy working with planning and reporting tools, including APS systems, within a production-oriented environment.
- You have 3-5 years of experience in production planning and demonstrate advanced skills in coordinating complex production processes, gained while working as a production planner with manufacturing technologies.
- You possess enhanced knowledge of SAP ERP and Excel, and are highly adept in using MS Office tools to support planning and analysis.
- You are motivated by captivating structured and solution-oriented work, and innovative in your approach to cross-functional collaboration and process optimization.
- You are proficient in communicating in German (spoken and written); English skills are desirable.
- You hold a valid work permit for Switzerland.
