Receiving Inspection - Ensuring parts meet engineering requirements Checking BOM / IP requirements and sometimes customer PO requirements to verify the parts comply. Visual inspection to make sure the parts are not damaged or rusted Where applicable, coating is good, threads are not damaged etc. Stamping / marking requirements are met for parts that are traceable Documentation is provided per IP - such as COC, MTRs, dimensional, assembly, test reports etc. Check packaging is per specification for elastomeric components, check cure date and remaining shelf life are per spec. In case of any non-conformances, create NCRs, attach relevant data and photos
