We are looking for Area Production Manager - Shah Deniz to join our team in Baku, Azerbaijan!
You will act as key stakeholder of the ADP and accountable for translation of ADP into set of activities (e.g., 20Q, 8Q integrated schedule).
Reporting to the Vice President Production AGT (Azerbaijan, Georgia, Türkiye), the Area Production Manager (APM) will contribute to the Regional resource allocation process for Production and coordinates production impacting resource allocation with Enablers for the QBR for the PDU.
Please note that the role is open for Azerbaijani citizens only.
Job responsibilities:
Responsible for safety and risk of Area Production facilities, including reservoir and wells.
Hold the 8Q Area Risk Management plan, including performance.
Responsible for and manages the Production Delivery Unit (PDU) and holds the Production and business delivery and cost for the Area.
Responsible for 8Q Production forecasting, management, and delivery across the four choke points of Area production (reservoir, wells, facilities, export); including Carbon.
Own reliable, compliant, and efficient operation of Area Production and related facilities, including reservoir and wells.
Drive the business prioritization for the Production Area, and integration with enablers (Site Projects Unit, Area Development Unit, Wells Unit) and PDU through the Quarterly Business Review (QBR) process.
Set the business mission and associated key objectives and performance management delivery across 8Q timeframe
Own and manage Area OPEX funds and activity to deliver production capacity growth, vulnerability reduction and efficiency improvements across all four choke points.
Drive effective execution at site, including quality, efficiency, and adherence to processes in service of Production.
Accountable for Site Managers (OIMs/OSMs) and site operational performance, supported by the Operation, Engineering and Maintenance & Reliability Discipline Managers

University degree in Science/ Engineering or equivalent technical degree

In this role, we have the following requirements

- At least 15 years' experience in oil and/or gas plant operations
- Be an inclusive technical and safety leader, empowering all to speak up, honestly and with transparency
- Drive operational discipline across the organization with particular emphasis on performance management.
- Proven track record in supervisory role in multi-disciplinary teams with a focus on growing and developing talent and building an inclusive culture
- Ability to establish trustful business relationships and networking with partners including contractors and government
- Solid business acumen and understanding of business priorities
- Good commercial and cost management skills
- Track record of integrating a business across four chokes and delivering base management excellence experience
- Proficiency in English and Azerbaijani languages, both written and verbal
