ProductionThe Production Engineer is required to handle the complexity and work-related activities related to Oil & Gas producers (both natural flow and artificial lift wells), water injection, water disposal wells starting from analysing, monitoring and working with key Weatherford and client personnel to recommend rejuvenation and optimisation opportunities. This would typically include identifying surveillance gaps, Lift system optimisation, piping optimisation, chemical treatments, logging, and integrity assurance resulting in performance of remedial work for production enhancement:

Responsibilities:
- Design, evaluate, and optimise artificial lift systems, focusing on ESP and rod lift technologies.
- Conduct performance analysis and troubleshooting using advanced simulation and modelling tools.
- Leverage production optimisation and surveillance platforms to monitor, analyse, and enhance well performance.
- Apply AI/ML techniques to develop and implement predictive models for equipment failure and production optimisation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance well productivity and optimise lift strategies.
- Utilise reservoir and production simulation software to support field development planning and well interventions.
- Interface with OEMs and service providers to ensure best-in-class lift system design, installation, and maintenance.
- Lead or support artificial lift projects from concept through execution, including field trials and performance monitoring.
- Provide technical mentorship and training to junior engineers and field personnel.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and recommendations for internal and external stakeholders.
Required:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in artificial lift systems, with a strong focus on ESP and rod lift.
- Proficiency in simulation tools such as Prosper, GAP, Pipesim, OLGA, or equivalent.
- Experience with reservoir modelling tools (e.g., Petrel, Eclipse, CMG) is a strong plus.
- Proven experience with production optimisation and surveillance platforms (e.g., Avocet, OFM, IPM Suite, XSPOC, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML tools and platforms (e.g., Python, TensorFlow, Azure ML) applied to oilfield operations.
- Demonstrated experience working with OEMs, service companies, and/or operating companies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred:
- Field experience in artificial lift installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Exposure to digital oilfield technologies and production optimisation platforms.
- Experience in developing or deploying predictive maintenance models for artificial lift systems.
- Knowledge of well performance diagnostics and surveillance techniques.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline
