This Position reports to:
Production Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support production processes to ensure optimization of cost, quality, and on-time delivery of product. Each day, you will participate in the sequence definition, cycle time calculation, and analysis of the working phases of new production processes/products. You will also showcase your expertise by sharing cycle time data with internal teams.

The work model for the role is onsite. #LI-Onsite

This role is contributing to the production team in MOTR. Main stakeholders are production assembly team members, industrial engineers, and extended operations team.
You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Preparing technical documentation regarding the process phases, related methods, and cycle times.
  • Supporting production during start-ups by training indirect and direct staff.
  • Ensuring that updated process and technical documentation are provided to Supply Chain Management teams to support supplier evaluations and proper supplier agreements.
  • Participating in the definition of action plans, training of relevant Maintenance and Production teams, and other support activities during the internal/external process and equipment start-up.

Qualifications for the role
  • You are engaged in electrical & mechanical design practices and you enjoy working downstream of technical documentation and specifications.
  • Ability to demonstrate your experience in manipulating and interpreting 3d models, which directly relate to execution of production fixture assembly and revision of MOTR production documentation.
  • You are passionate about practical problem solving, mistake proofing, and process improvement.
  • A ssociate's degree, or bachelor's degree in fields such as Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent demonstrated work experience.
  • You are at ease communicating manufacturing/design concepts with engineers and production employees.
