We're Hiring | Production Operations Technician
Location: UK
Salary: £28,000
Hours: Monday-Friday - 6am-3pm
We're partnering with a leading industrial process solutions company investing heavily in new UK facilities as they scale from 10 to 50 employees over the next 3-4 years.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on operational work, technical accuracy, and supporting safe, compliant production processes.
What You'll Be Doing
- Carry out all required pre-fill and post-fill inspections before products are released
- Ensure all vessels are maintained, removing any that require repair or attention
- Maintain accurate labelling and documentation with strong attention to detail
- Inspect pressure gauges and monitoring devices and report faults to the Maintenance Manager
- Prepare transport and documentation for outgoing goods once trained and signed off
- Liaise with customer service teams to ensure orders are dispatched on time and in full
- Provide daily operational updates to internal stakeholders
- Knowledge and Bartender labelling system when working in Despatch
- Process orders in line with work instructions, including correct packaging and maintaining delivery dates
- Ensure goods leave on time and error-free to prevent customer NCRs
- Handle products safely at all times
- Maintain accurate production records in compliance with HSE, legislative and internal procedures
- Report accidents and incidents promptly
- Carry out periodic plant checks to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Complete daily check sheets and compliance documents
- Operate forklift trucks, pallet jacks and warehouse equipment (training provided if needed)
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Assist with loading/unloading trucks and trailers when required
- Carry out preparation, valving, testing and packing tasks once trained and deemed competent
What Makes You Great
- Previous experience as in production environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately
- Good written skills to complete compliance documentation clearly and neatly
- Willingness to learn technical processes and achieve competency sign-off
- Ability to work safely and responsibly in an industrial production environment
- Forklift certification desirable but not essential (training can be provided)
