Position Title: Production Operations Engineer

Technical execution of Online Flow Assurance Pipeline Management System (PMS) and Operator Training System (OTS) projects.

Job Role

- Performing assigned tasks (in lead or team-based roles) as per project specifications and schedule.

- Participate in discussions to propose solutions, provide clarifications while managing client

expectations.

Main activities/responsibilities

Technical Activities:

• Engineering of OLGA multiphase flow models for online real-time use
• Developing OLGA Online advisors (workflows)
• System integration of OLGA models to client control system and user interface
• Actively gathering and reviewing technical data from clients
• Developing web user interface screens and dashboards
• Perform factory acceptance test with clients and customer site installation and acceptance testing
• Writing project documentation (specifications, test procedures, user manuals)
• Develop and maintain engineering documents (P&ID mark-ups, control schematics)
• Perform testing, reviews and QA
• Deliver customer on-site end user training

Responsibilities:

• Participate in global project teams
• Ensure prompt and timely deliveries to end client
• Professional approach to take part in global teams
• Use and document changes to all working processes in a global wiki-system

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor s Degree (Masters preferred) in:

Petroleum Technology/ Engineering

Chemical Engineering

Mechanical Engineering (emphasis on Flow Dynamics) or

Process Control Engineering

Experience:

• Minimum 4-5 years of experience delivering commercial projects to external

clients

• OLGA or any other dynamic process simulator modelling
• PMS or OTS development experience preferred
• Basic working knowledge of Networking and Communication, OPC and

System Engineering is preferred

Technical skills:

• Interpret P&IDs, instrument data sheets, well schematics, piping isometrics,
• pipeline alignment sheets, well tests
• Flow Assurance/Simulation
• Intermediate proficiency with IT
• OPC DA/HDA/AE/UA knowledge is an advantage
