Requirements

To excel as a Safety Officer, you'll need a solid foundation of certifications and practical experience:

You'll be ensuring a safe environment by holding a NEBOSH IGC and OPITO BOSIET, including HUET with CA-EBS.

Maintaining your valid Offshore Medical (OGUK or ENG1) and keeping up-to-date with H2S Awareness and Sea Survival Training are crucial.

Your expertise will extend to Gas Tester certification, GWO Working at Height & Confined Space training, and vital Firefighting & First Aid/CPR skills.

You'll actively apply your strong understanding of Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems, lead engaging toolbox talks, conduct thorough risk assessments, and meticulously handle incident reporting.

Ensuring compliance means possessing a valid passport, offshore work authorization, and drug & alcohol clearance, alongside a Seafarer's Book for vessel-based projects.

Bring your 2-5 years of HSE experience from offshore, marine, drilling, or heavy industrial settings to make a real impact as a Safety Officer.
